Sneaky Bypass Methods and Cheap Windows Product Keys will No Longer Work for Windows 11 24H2
The subreddit page (https://www.reddit.com/r/cheapwindowskeys/comments/1d5jz9b/getting_a_windows_11_key_cheap/) aims to provide information about cheap Windows product keys. However, those who plan to use it to activate the Windows 11 program will be in for a disappointment. Early information about the soon to be released Windows 11 24H2 indicate that the bypass command code and sneaky method that make it possible for unlicensed users to fully activate the new Windows features, have been blocked. In all probability, any cheap Windows product key purchased from the gray market will not work.
Bypass Command and Malicious Microsoft Account Already Blocked in Windows 11 24H2
Historically, unlicensed users of Windows 10 and 11 resorted to the use of a bypass code as a method of working around the Activation requirements. In the Release Preview Channel, Microsoft made it known that the command password OOBE BypassNRO is no longer recognized by the 24H2 version since it had previously permitted users to activate the Windows program without Internet connection. The bypass method allowed the use of a local account in lieu of a Microsoft account, while at the same time skipped with the licence linking protocol.
Microsoft also blocked several email addresses used by unlicensed Windows 11 users when they logged in to a malicious Microsoft account. Similarly, the Microsoft account cancelled the license linking requirement, which permitted the full activation of all Windows 11 features.
Why is the Windows Activation Process Necessary
While unlicensed users can access and install Windows 11 in their devices, it’s now necessary to Activate the program by opening a Microsoft account to where one’s Windows digital license will be registered and linked.
Microsoft introduced the digital license in Windows 10 as an additional requirement to the 25-digit product key. Apparently product keys covered by discontinued Microsoft Volume Licensing Agreement (MVLA) purchased from grey market resellers were being used to activate the Windows program. The retail sale of such product keys is a clear violation of the terms and conditions of the MVLA.
Other unlawful retail selling of product keys involved the violation of the Systems Builder License of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
The introduction of the digital licence served as proof that the Windows 10 and the Windows 11 software were purchased from the online Microsoft store. It became important for a product key to be supported by a digital license to ensure that the product key is genuine and was not used in other devices before.
That being the case, it became necessary for purchases of cheap Windows 11 product keys to use either the bypass method that permitted using a local account; or the malicious Microsoft account and the related bogus email addresses.
